Chandrababu Naidu blames Congress government led by Y S Rajasekhara Reddy for “Satyam Fraud”

chandrababu-naiduBreaking News! TDP President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has slammed the Congress Party, holding it responsible for the “Satyam Fiasco”. “Satyam scandal was due to “greediness and mania for money” of Congress rulers”, said Naidu.

According to Naidu, the Congress government led by Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, was instrumental in making Maytas a super industry over the past five years. He also accused the Congress government in the state of awarding projects worth Rs. 36,000 crore to Maytas during their tenure.

Chandrababu Naidu rubbished the allegations that he promoted Satyam’s Ramalinga Raju during his tenure. “I promoted not only Ramalinga Raju but also other businessmen from the state. I took them abroad to seek foreign investments into the state. My only objective was to improve the state’s industry”, said Naidu. He admitted that Andhra Pradesh’s image has been tarnished by the Satyam saga.
